Sousan Abadian
Dr. Sousan Abadian is currently a Fulbright Scholar in the Specialist Program and has been invited to go to Canada to work on “Indigenous perspectives in a changing world.” Dr. Abadian earned a Ph.D. in Political Economy and Government from Harvard University, an M.P.A. in International Development from Harvard’s Kennedy School, and an M.A. in the Anthropology of Social Change and Development, also from Harvard University. Her earlier research on healing the effects of long-standing collective trauma and cultural damage to indigenous communities, a key contributing factor in violence and impoverishment, was described by Nobel laureate in economics Amartya Sen as “pioneering” and “highly original.”
She now teaches, speaks, and consults internationally on leadership, managing change processes, and her ARIA creativity principles. She builds on her earlier work at Cambridge Leadership Associates facilitating workshops and speaking on Adaptive Leadership. Between June 2017 to June 2019, Dr. Abadian served as a Franklin Fellow at the U.S. State Department’s Office of International Religious Freedom, Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor. She has also served as a Fellow at M.I.T.’s Dalai Lama Center for Ethics and Transformative Values as well as at Harvard’s Center for Public Leadership.
Dolly Dastoor
Dr. Dastoor is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and a member of the McGill Centre for Studies in Aging. She is Co-director of the Program for Dementia with Psychiatric Co-Morbidity in the Moe Levin Centre at the Douglas Mental Health University Institute. In her clinical practice, she specializes in the assessment of dementia.
Dolly Dastoor was born in Bombay India. She received her B.A. and M.A. from Bombay University. She went to Nigeria in 1964 and worked as a WHO Research Fellow at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria. In 1973 she immigrated to Canada with the family and joined the Douglas Hospital as a Clinical Psychologist. At present she is the Clinical-administrative manager of the Program in Dementia and specializes in assessment of dementias.
Dolly Dastoor has been the founder President of the Alzheimer Society of Montreal- 1986-91 and is the honorary Life member of the Board. Dolly was the President of Zonta International, Montreal Club, 1982-85, and Governor of District 2, 2002-2004, an international service organization of executives in business and profession. She served as the International Chair of the Status Women Committee 1989-1992. and attended the UN Commission on the Status of Women, in Vienna.
Fariba Pirghaibi
Ms. Fariba was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. She graduated with a degree in Medical Technology from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and currently resides in Southern California with her husband and two daughters.
Fariba has been an active member of California Zoroastrian Center from the day it opened its doors in 1987 and has served the community in various capacities including serving on youth group and board of directors.
For the last ten years, she has been the editor of Chehrenama’s publication and one of the teachers of Zoroastrian Ethics for the teen class at California Zoroastrian Center.
Kamran Jamshidi
Mr. Jamshidi is an engineer who has worked for many years within the car industry in Sweden, both as a designer and CAD-CAM expert. He has also designed and manufactured plastic molds both in Iran and Sweden.
Kamran Jamshidi is also a Mobed, which is a Zoroastrian spiritual teacher/guide. In many years he has studied and practiced personal development, stress management, well-being, balanced life, etc, and coached many people to regain their self-confidence and balance in life.
Mr. Jamshidi has traveled around the globe for many years and delivered inspirational and motivational talks. Kamran has been working for the Swedish Government for six years now.
Nikan Khatibi
Dr. Khatibi is a visionary, outcome-driven physician executive, serial entrepreneur, and team-leader with experience providing company leadership, strategic planning, and policy development.

Koorosh K. Shahrokh
Dr. Shahrokh has been working as an attorney since 1998. Mr. Shahrokh grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. While in Canada, Mr. Shahrokh worked for the provincial criminal prosecutor’s office in British Columbia. He tried over 100 cases to verdict as a prosecutor and concluded his services in the special prosecutions and criminal appeal section, specializing in commercial crime.
In 2006, Mr. Shahrokh opened his offices, where he represents accident victims in all types of personal injury claims, including medical malpractice and auto accidents.
His office in Encino directly serves clients in San Fernando, Van Nuys, Sherman Oaks, and all of Los Angeles, Orange, Kern, and San Diego Counties. Additionally, National Choice Lawyers will serve your needs throughout the United States.

Khosro E. Mehrfar
Managing Partner of Mehr Solar
Dr. Mehrfar has served as a managing partner since the start of the business. Dr. Mehrfar’s specific interest is in the application of advanced technology in the clean renewable energy industry. His interest started early in the mid-’70s when he was an undergraduate student in the college of engineering at the University of Tehran, Iran.
After graduation, he moved to the U.S. in 1979 to pursue higher education and earned his Master’s in 1982 and Ph.D. in 1986 in Civil engineering with emphasis on computer simulation and systems modeling of energy, environment, and natural resources from the University of Akron, Ohio. While at the university, he led a team of engineers for the 3D design of NASA’s underground wind tunnels at Lewis research center and later designed and implemented a GIS computer system for Public Utilities Commissions of Ohio – PUCO under Governor Richard Celeste and current co-chair of Homeland Security project at Century Foundation.
The deliverable which was successfully installed at PUCO’s headquarter in Columbus, Ohio was an advanced computer system to fully control and manage all electrical power grids of various utility companies across the state.
After completing graduate school, he moved to California and started working for the Los Angeles office of Bechtel Corporation, an engineering and construction Management Company, and became manager of automation on Bechtel’s Disney-MGM Studios Theme Parks projects in Paris.
While at Bechtel, studying the complexity of the management of nuclear reactor power plants to create electricity in the U.S. and in Europe convinced him that to produce safe, clean, and enduring energy, solar power is one of the best alternatives. This conviction was further confirmed after he was assigned to a joint U.S. and Europe energy-producing project with Italian power corporation Enel and EDF of France.
He started his own company; Mehr U S Corp. and his interest in alternative, sustainable clean energy lead him to be part of a spin-off company dedicated to solar energy.

He is the author of many articles and has been interviewed by local, national, and international TVs and Radios on cultural and environmental issues including CNN international for his role as the chairman of a United Nations-sponsored global event sponsored by UNESCO, a report of which, can be found on Harvard University, Pluralism project.
Dr. Mehrfar, along with commissioners from 6 states, the honorable Senator of the State of Washington, and the honorable Consulate General, were the 9 delegates from the U.S. who were invited to Spain by the government for the first conference on renewable energy. Dr. Mehrfar’s speech was on “Renewable Energy in the U.S. market”, part of which was published in European journals and was referenced in some newspapers.
He is the co-founder of Orange County Renewable Energy Group & its treasurer, a chapter of the American Solar Energy Society. He is also a member of the University of California at Irvine (UCI) Merage School of Business Management Executive to Executive group where he mentors MBA students and prepares them for the real world of business. Dr. Mehrfar holds the California General Building Contractor license, Solar Certified State License, and Energy Management Systems (EMS) certificate.
